Nurse Practitioner and Mental Health Specialist
With over 25 years of pediatric experience, I know exactly how overwhelming it can be when your child is struggling. Whether they are battling anxiety, facing attention challenges, or experiencing school avoidance, the impact is felt by the entire family. You are likely exhausted from the homework battles and the worry.
I created Healthy Endeavors to be a judgment-free, supportive space where we can uncover the root causes of these struggles. I don't believe in quick fixes or simply masking symptoms. My passion is partnering with parents and empowering kids and teens with the real-world skills they need to build lasting confidence.
As a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Health & Wellness Nurse Coach, I look at the "whole child"—mind, body, emotions, environment, and daily functioning.
While I am fully licensed to prescribe and manage mental health medications safely, I view medication as a tool, not the entire toolbox. My primary focus is always on equipping your child with non-medication-based strategies first. By teaching executive functioning skills, emotional regulation, and practical coping mechanisms, we can build genuine, lifelong resilience.
25+ Years of Pediatric Experience: Dedicated to the health, development, and emotional well-being of children and young adults.
Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-PC): Advanced medical training in diagnosing and treating pediatric conditions.
Board-Certified Health & Wellness Nurse Coach (HWNC-BC): Specialized training in holistic coaching, behavioral change, and coping strategies.
Clinical Focus: ADHD evaluation and treatment, generalized and social anxiety, executive functioning, and parent coaching.
"What makes Rebecca so special is her genuine care and belief in helping children grow stronger from the inside out. Her thoughtful, whole-child approach is both rare and incredibly effective!" - HM
I look forward to partnering with your family to bring balance and peace back to your home.
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner- Board Certified
My goal as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is to provide compassionate, supportive, and judgment-free care. I want children, teens, young adults, and families to feel safe, heard, welcomed, supported, and cared for.
With nearly 10 years of experience in psychiatric care, I have worked with pediatric, adolescent, and college-aged patients in inpatient psychiatric settings. I have also provided crisis intervention through the suicide hotline. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to providing empathetic, patient-centered care during some of life’s most difficult moments.
I understand that seeking help can feel overwhelming. I strive to create a space where patients feel comfortable showing up as themselves, asking questions, and knowing they are not alone. Building trust and strong therapeutic relationships is at the heart of my work. I believe that seeking help is a meaningful sign of strength, and I am honored to support my patients on their journey toward healing, stability, and growth.
My approach to care is holistic, collaborative, and patient-centered. I focus on creating a safe and supportive environment where patients and families feel heard, understood, welcomed, and cared for. I believe effective mental health treatment involves caring for the whole person, not just symptoms or diagnoses.
Mental health is shaped by many interconnected parts of life, including sleep, nutrition, exercise, stress, relationships, school or work, and daily routines. In treatment, I help patients understand how these areas impact their mood, focus, and overall well-being. I also work with patients to build practical strategies to improve balance in these areas over time.
Together, we focus on developing healthy routines, strengthening coping skills, and improving emotional regulation. This may include identifying patterns, setting realistic goals, and learning skills that support day-to-day functioning and long-term stability.
While medication management may be helpful for some individuals, I also emphasize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychoeducation, and practical coping strategies that can be used in everyday life. My focus is on helping patients build confidence, resilience, and sustainable tools for emotional wellness.
I work closely with patients and families to create individualized treatment plans that reflect each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals. My goal is for all patients and families to feel welcome, supported, and cared for as they take steps toward healing and growth.
