Frequently Asked Questions

What is Nurse Coaching?

I am a Registered Nurse who uses my many years of medical and nursing training, and experience with patients at the bedside, and has received specialized training in motivational psychology to help others embrace change, and find a way that works best for them to make adjustments in their lifestyle and habits to become healthier versions of themselves. Just like I did in 2005.

Can I really use my FSA or HSA funds?

Because I am a Registered Nurse (RN), I structured my weight loss coaching program to qualify for FSA and HSA Eligible expenses.

What is the next step after completing my purchase?

After registration, you will be sent a few forms to complete via your email box. Because I am a registered nurse, you must sign a HIPAA consent form. I am licensed to work with clients in specific states, so you be asked to verify your state of residency. There is also a health history form for you to complete, this will help me to customize your plan.

What states are you license to work with clients?

I am licensed to practice in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Guam, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

How do I communicate with my coach?

In the Get Healthy Plus and Premium programs, there are three 25-minute sessions to review your progress, make suggestions, and formulate plans.

There are weekly group calls.

All members have access to secure chat; I will answer within 72 hours.

How strict is the diet?

You are in control of your diet, the speed that you lose weight, and the results. We co-create a plan that will work with your current life and adjust as things come up. I will give your guidance as to how to lose weight and still enjoy yourself, parties, vacation, and the holiday season. There are no bad foods or foods that are off limits. Those things just need to be taken into consideration with the overall plan. No one is perfect 100% of the time. Shoot for 80% of the time and you will be on a good path.

Do I have to count calories or macros?

You don't. There are ways around this, but it will only get you so far. You may be happy with those results and that is fabulous. I depends how how much you want to become. Without counting macros or calories, at some point most people plateau.
